What med Should I add to prevent fungus

My bettas have just spawned and I was wondering whether I should add some melafix or not to help the eggs and let the Bettas recover. Is this a good idea??

no dont add any meds! they are way too harsh for eggs and fry, the only thing you can add thats gentle is aquarisol..and a tiny bit of aquarium salt

I add a very gentle dose of BettaMax,but that's ONLY if I remove the father. The male will keep the eggs clean

ive never had fungus and i always add maroxy. i think i learned that from bettatalk. it is safe for eggs!

Cheers Guys I'll stay away from the melafix and the meds for now
