What lighting?

I'm either getting a 55 or 75 gallon tank. Not sure yet. But I'm thinking of getting corals and inverts so I need major lighting right? I don't know what to get or how things fit together, or where to go to buy them nothing. I need help guys I guess I need like 5 watts per gallon? I see all these different lighting but I don't know if I can mount them to my current hood, or if it comes with it's own hood or what.

5 watss per gallon is a good start, but if you're gonna keep corals and inverts, I'd reccommend you aim for 7-10 per gallon. It'd be a wise choice to look into metal halide for your lights.
