What Kind Of Snails Do I Have?

Hey all, I just bought 3 snails at the local lfs, they were listed as assorted snails, so I'm wodering what kind they actually are. I'm thinking some sort of apple snail, but I'm not positive. Also what conditions are needed to breed them?? Thank you!!

Hi,

They are apple snails, most likely brigs but check out www.applesnail.net for a positive id. They need calcium rich food and liquid calcium added to to tank. Mine breed quite regularly with no special conditions, just need a pH of around 8. Check out the discussions pages on www.applesnail.net.

the brown one to the left in the bottom picture is not an apple snail. Those dudes hitch hiked with me. no damage done by them. Not much waste either. Fun dudes.
