What kind of salt?

What kind of salt do you guys recommend?

I bought some Dr. Wellfish's aquarium salt. That's what both of the fish stores said to use but I just want to make sure. I have been asking other forums and chats and so far I have 3 for the salt and 1 for instant ocean.

Not sure what the difference is between marine salt and aquarium salt but would have thought the aquarium salt, as long as you don't go for the table salt you should be fine. Might be worth finding out what the gravity in the lfs is that you're getting it from so you don't shock it too much.

From all I've read, if you are setting up a BW tank you should use Instant Ocean (or other marine mix). The sea salt has chemicals that help buffer the water and assist in the way BW fish process oxygen, that regular salts don't possess. puffer pack is wright, you need to use marine salt. I'm not quite sure what S.G they should be kept at though.
