What Kind Of Pleco Is This?

I have this pleco i bought from an aquarium. They called it a gold stripe pleco, I can not find anything like it, and i think the store just labelled it that cus they didnt know what else to call it.Can you identify it, and possibly tell me how big it will get?

Thanks, but I do not think that is what it is. Gibbiceps are very spotty regardless of colour. My pleco has stripes on its tail, and does not really have pots on its body, but like squiggly lines of colour. Do you have any other ideas?
 
it looks like Pterygoplichthys joselimaianus (L022) very similar to the one I had, very beautiful plec, will grow at least 12"

Thank you, I think you are right, i googled it, and it is very similar. Also they say the this particular type has greater than 10 rays in its dorsal fin, and mine does too =)

I've got two which look like that and in the shop i bought them from they were labled as brittlenoses...they only grow to 4-8 inches...

Then im afraid you were mis-sold and misled by the shop, the picture is of a L001 pterygoplichthys joselimaianus as star4 correctly ID'ed, lovely fish but will get well in excess of 4-8 inches.
