you could ahve a great malawi set up in there.

because its hexagonal you could put it in the middle ofa room, and pile rocks up in the middle, ive seen this before it looks brilliant =D
very colourful and active fish, and you can keep alot of them, because the more you ahve, the less aggresive they are, try looking in the african cichlid section =)

If you have been keeping fresh water for some time now be you should try salt. A 75 gal is a great size foe that.

The only thing I would say about having African Cichlids in a Hexagon tank, is probably a no. Just because Cichlids like to stay near the bottom; like a a foot or two up from the substrate.

So if you wanted to go for an African Cichlid tank, you want a tank that is longer than it is tall, like a traditional rectangular tank.

I do agree that a Cichlid setup would be neat, but you should have a tank that is suitable for them, and I am afraid a hexagon would not be the best tank for them.
