Maybe it's because the animal is too expensive, too difficult to keep, your place is too small etc...............

But if you could and there were no barriers, what would you keep as your dream pet?

My partners is a Husky, we just dont have a place to keep one and expensive

Mine...a unicorn! Dream pet if existed  In reality a munchkin cat or dachshund. Both expensive and we work full time.

What would yours be Seffie? x

A blue or isobella Male Dobermann who didn't have a skin condition (unfortunately rare as hen's teeth). And I work full time, so no Dobie for me at the moment. Oh how I miss having a Dobie in the house

Thanks for asking :D

Talking to my brother about this Yesterday actually. My dream pet would be a sloth, they;

  • They Sleep 20 hours of the day
  • They eat for 4 hours of the day
  • They only go to the toilet once a month
  • If you tickle them, they get upset and you have to hug them to make them stop stropping

It really has to be the best pet in the world.

for me it will hopefully become a reality if we get to move this year

I want a black and white argentinian Tegu Monitor. They get large and need large accomodation but if i get the house I want with a cellar or big room hyst for me then I'll get one if there is space after my boa viv and python viv

I;d love a tortoise as well, my wife wanted to get mee one for xmas as I always wanted one but I flagged the garden last year and it wouldn;t be fair without grass etc

Also an eagle owl, really looked into one of these last year but wouldn;t be fair with neighbours close by. they make too much noise so will wait till i ge ta house away from other folk!!

The first and last sound really cool, I'm not a big fan of small bird I don't really see the point, but bigger birds are awesome.

Mine would be a horse. Not so much a 'pet'. But a very expensive animal to own and keep. So rewarding though, especially if you bring them on from a young age.

A panda bear... They look so cuddly, and I'm such a cuddly freak... (my wife will not agree), but I am... (she occassionally comes up under the name "Cheetah").... I Trust she will not see this comment!

We will all keep a close look out for her :p just incase she misses this post then we can sign post her to it......... or maybe even a little PM :fun:

anyways, surely you haven't got time to be on here today, packing, packing packing!

i want a huge bird of prey. but it seems cruel keeping one in captivity, so i won't ever get one.

cheers :good:
