It looks like a male guppy & It looks like a lump of poop got stuck
I keep checking on it every hour. Right now the dark spot that came out is no longer there. It sure is poop. I have a separater in my tank it case it was something else because it hasn’t been eating at all either. It had me really freaking out how it started to hang out. My guppy looks less bloated now that some poop came out. Thank you!

It’s okay. I’m feeding them tropical fish crumbles. They really like these. I crumble them more so the pieces are more smaller. The big pieces they don’t eat and just end up at the bottom of the tank and it’s a waste of food

Try breaking the food up a little for them, It may be too big for them to fit it in. I know mine have a go at things & if its too big for them to fit in the mouth, they ignore it after.
Also they may not be eating cos they dont like the food. I feed my Guppys Tetramin Flake, Fluval Bug bites, Frozen Bloodworm/Brine Shrimp & throw the odd sinking shrimp pellet in. Try and vary the food a bit just to keep them interested

Thanks so much! I’ll try that

You can also shell some peas and mush them. The veggies will help keep him regular. I also feed Sera spirulina tabs that stick in the glass.

I agree that it s a prolapse. It may heal but more than likely will not and the fish will need to be euthanized. @Colin_T what do you think?
