Hello! I was on another smaller forum earlier and came across this post.
what is this??? it looks like etoliated moss growing from this red blob...

I am mostly stumped on the red blob...

The red blob could be a freshwater sponge.
Is it in your tank?
If yes, get more pictures and video and touch it gently. See if it's soft or hard. Soft would be a sponge or bryozoans. Hard could be calcareous algae.
