What are those white spots on the wood? They have been there for some time now

From the photo to me they look like air bubbles stuck on the wood.

They are not air bubbles and they are white

Could be snail eggs or a fungus of some kind.

I would be interested in what kind of wood. This may not even be possible but I wonder if it could be minerals, such as calcium, that is leeching to the surface of the wood due to being submerged...

It has been in there since Nov. it had his time with the grey film (mildew looking) and the Cyanobacteria. And these spots“ have been there for a while now.

I googled more on it and I think it could be this, a fungus
