What is this?

What are these little dots? They're on pretty much every decoration in my 65 gallon aquarium. They've been there for a long time and haven't seemed to hurt anything, I am just curious

it's such a hassle
the extra pesky ones lay it in the cracks of the rocks and its IMPOSSIBLE to get rid of

Icky...
I don't mind the nirite snail eggs as much as the clusters my mystery snails lay on the tank lid though, they gross me out.
I love my snails though, they're my favorite creature in my aquariums.

Question, how do you breed Nerite snails. I know the brackish water requirement. Do people do that.

People do it for some species of shrimp, Amano come to mind. They gotta come from somewhere hahaha

They like laying eggs, I would have thought that was the hard part.

Apparently, it's the hatched larvae that are tricky.

There's a definite market for nerites.

they need specific salinity requirements that change...
also Green Water, not sure if you already have cultured that

I did a lot of stuff with green water in my university year. I had excess to microscopes so studied different containers of green water for life. It was surprising how much variation there is from one body of water to the next even though they are sitting next to one another. It is one of the reasons I don't use green water to feed fry.
