What are these little dots? They're on pretty much every decoration in my 65 gallon aquarium. They've been there for a long time and haven't seemed to hurt anything, I am just curious

the extra pesky ones lay it in the cracks of the rocks and its IMPOSSIBLE to get rid of

I did a lot of stuff with green water in my university year. I had excess to microscopes so studied different containers of green water for life. It was surprising how much variation there is from one body of water to the next even though they are sitting next to one another.
