It's a snail. One of the smaller planorbid snails - a miniature ramshorn. These are common hitchhikers on live plants. If you don't have live plants, they could possibly have got into the bag at the shop from their tank when you bought fish.

Yeah I do have live plants, probably a hitchhiker on them so! ? is it ok to leave him in there? I have platy, swordtails, mollies, neon tetras and a sone unidentified fry since last night!!!

ahhh ahhh hes got snails ahhh

if you don't mind it leave it, or join the dark side and squash it before it breeds.

These and other types of 'pest' snail can get out of control if they have too much food. The way to stop them taking over is to not over feed the fish :)

I have these snails and physid snails in my tanks. Yes there are a few but they are nowhere near taking over.

Thanks for the advice guys! Will leave him there as I can only fine one at the moment! ?

Looks like a BRH snail to me.

Even reduced feeding won't get rid of ramshorns...and there's never only 1 hitch hiker.

I'd dispose of them as you see them, or it won't be long before you have dozens, or more...

Been there done that. The only way to get rid of them is to manually pick them out.

Try throwing some food in there, and wait until a lot come, and then scoop them all out. Make sure to not throw them in any body of water, or flush them.
