What Is This Pleco?

He is 2". He is Dark grey with light spots, his fins are light with dark spots. I bought him 4 months ago, he was a little smaller than he is now, but not by much!
Sorry bout the pic quality and yes I know my tank needs cleaned!

My Oh's sisters bf told me what he was but I can't remember! He is not a BN. And not common as my lfs do not stock them.

Looks a lot like a gold spot to me, I hope you have a biiiiiiiiig tank.

I looked at the goldspot.. But it seems their fins are the same colour as their body?
My guys fins are lighter. His body is dark with light spots, his fins are light with dark spots.

I was told the breed, but for the life of my cannot remember. I was also told this type dont get too big?
I don't know alot about plecos to be honest!

Could be a Kieser Pleco, L003, these only grow to about 10"

Ok, took him out when I was doing a water change today to get some better pics.

I have been searching on google and we think he is a bulldog/rubbernose???

From the first picture, he looks like a gold spot, gold nugget of some sort, but I have no clue on what it is. Like bagu said, just ask him again...

Almost definately a bulldog, but with some unusual markings.

Looks like some type of Chaetostoma sp . the common rubber nose aka bulldog pleco is in this but there are a few plecos that go by the name Bulldog.

he is deffinitly a rubbernose, i have had a few of them before. looks exactly like yours. they stay smaller and love cucumber. Definitly my favorite pleco.
