What Is This Plant?

Can anyone tell me the name of this floating plant?

i had some of this once..was sold to me as "water lettuce". sorry dont know scientific name. it did a wonderful job of taking over the top of the tank and cutting out the light for the rest of the plants. i eventually got rid of it. excellent for fry to hide in tho.

That is amazonian frogbit My fish ate all of mine when i had it, if youve got livebearers then the fry like hiding in the roots of it

water lettuce is larger and looks like a lettuce

Thanks for clearing that up..they must have mislabeled when i got it. i had that exact plant (frogbit). sold as water lettuce. oh well. it did very well in my tank..a bit too well as i had to get rid of it eventually.
