What Is This? Plant, Algae Or Something Else

Need advise. Don't know what this is growing in my 30gal community tank. Tank is one year old and all has been doing fine. This growth is slow growing and started about six months ago.

Any ideas?

To be honest that looks suspiciously like BBA, Black Brush Algae.

I think it looks like Black Brush Algae too. Are you going to try to get rid of it? I actually think it looks really cool.

Your tank looks like its starting to become a prequel for a horror aquarium movie but i kinda like the look though lol.

It looks suspiciously like a similar green algae that I have growing in my tanks, it is most likely a type of clado ( there is literally hundreds of types), the reason I am not bothered by it growing  in my tanks is that it is interestingly related to the much sort after and illegal to have in Australia Marimo Moss balls ( Cladophora aegagropila).
