What Is The Best Option?

I have been reading like crazy for months now and im still a little confused with what to do with the back compartments, ok i have to take bio balls and things out but what is best to put in? Everyone seems to have slightly different ideas is it just a case of what works for you? Please help! If there is a thread i dont know about please direct me lol thanks.

when i was going to set one up people told me to put a bit of live rock rubble in and then some cheato with a small light on 24/7

Take out all the noodles, etc including the foam that sits under the skimmer. Replace with

Rowaphos
Live Rock Rubble
and if you wish some chaeto in a bag
