can someone tell what is the best habitat for guppie to give birth? thx

hello.

i have a 2 n half foot fish tank with a few guppies in and one has just gave birth to loads of frys all i got in my tank are few fake plants and big tree stump decoration and a cave ill add a pic up so u can see wot it looks like but thay gave me loads of fry in my tank like.

well, the Perfect habitat for a guppy to give birth in is a large (100gal+) tank with a #105###load of plants (real or fake)
and seeing as how this would be overkill for just 1 fish, you're probably not gonna do it :shout:
so, a good habitat would be a tank (any size but use common sense) with lots of plants for the fry to hide in, the guppy should also be alone
or, if you want to not move the guppy, provide lots of hiding places (ie. using plants) in your main tank

Large bunches of fine leaved plants, like elodea, cabomba or Java fern are better for guppies and their fry than caves; they're surface dwelling fish most of the time.
