Was looking at the pics of the different types of bettas to figure out what my female may be. still not quite sure.
Opinion?

;0) It's kind of hard to tell because of the clamped fins. If you could post a picture of her flaring, or with her fins normal, that'd help!

I think she could be a Delta, just judging by the picture.

She is a nice colour, I like the light coloured ones

how do you get a female to flare up? i know how to get the males to but i can't the female :( if i can get her to i'll get you better pics

I'd have to agree. But add a q. of my own here. Alot of my girls that I'm not sure the breeding of have 3 or 4 branches on their tail ends but are rounded off. They aren't ct's and I wouldn't say their tails are as fancy as my HM girl. I'll try to get some pics of them so you can see what I mean. I'd assumed they are all v.t type but now you've mentioned the branching I'm having second thoughts. :S
Hugs,
P.

If the females have more than two branches they are likely a standard st (singletail). Meaning they just don't have the development of enough branches to be a delta/sd, but will prob be rounded and smaller. Theya re NOT the same as veils, as they will not produce veil offspring.
