I am new to this forum and i'm just finding out how to use it but that is beside the point. I would like to know what one of my fish in my tank is.

It looks like a goby it is multicoloured and is about 10cm it absolutely loves bloodworm. It is pale with orange cheek stripes and red, orange and blue spots down its side. it has 2 dorsal fins and all its fins are pale with spots and yellow stripes.

I'll put a picture on the forum next time i come on. But please help because i need to find out how big it gets!!

Sounds like it could posibly be a Morgunda morgunda, sometimes known as a Purple striped gudgeon, a picture would help to comfirm it. If it is a morgunda then it could grow up to around 16cm if it is female, if male then it will be about full grown.

Well its working now. Yep that is definately a Morgunda morgunda, one of my favourite fish i have a few of them myself. I just hope you dont have any small fish like tetras or guppies or any that are delicate because M.morgunda's are fiercely predatory and can be quite aggressive.
