Well, the leaf with corydoras eggs in in the breeding trap attached to the spray bar so there is a good flow of water and oxygen going over them. Yesterday they were all translucent, but today a few of them have gone white inside. What does this mean? Have they gone bad, or are they developing eggs? Should I just leave them all to see what happens?

Look forward to hearing your thoughts.

If they have gone white then their no good.

either the male did not fertilise the eggs or they was bad for some reason.

Ok, so those few eggs have gone bad. They are probably the ones that got pecked at by the angelfish. Do I have to remove them, or can they be left in situe?

Should I get any fry from these eggs, how long before they would be big enough to go into the main tank?

The bad eggs soon grow fungus which can spread to good eggs too.
Melatone blue is great at helping to stop this but it's best used away from the other fish in a hatching tank.

Or u can try to remove bad eggs if possible.

To minimize the threat of fungus, use a turkey baster or pipette to pick out the bad eggs and get rid of them :)

Well, out of about 40 eggs there were 9 or 10 white ones, so I have rolled off as many as I could without damaging the others, leaving 4 or 5 behind. The others seem to have dark specks inside, is this them growing??? :)

Yes i would imagine so :good: Just try to disturb the eggs as little as possible from now on. Good luck!
