OK, if any of you remember me, I'm the guy who looses fish on a daily basis. I had two tetras(black skirts), and when my angels were losing fins the tetras were blamed. I NEVER SAW THEM GO AFTER ANY OTHER FISH THOUGH....
I still think it was a bacterial infection, but the angels eventually died. I got rid of the tetras. Now, my silver shark has an entire fin missing on his right side. Why do fish constantly attack each other? It's so frustrating. I have 1 pleco left, a african clawed frog(which I'm told by LFS owners is NOT a fin nipper), and 2 shrimp. I had 3 shrimp, but surprise surprise ...it's gone...poof! . My question is who ate my sharks entire fin, and how do I find out? I want to keep the frog, and can't afford a new tank. They get big and I need my 30 gallon. Can it be him? Do pleco's eat fins? Ghost shrimp....?
