What Hardware For 55 Gallon Aquarium?

So I'm getting a 55g, and need supplies for it:

How many GPH for a Filter
How many Watts for a Heater
How many Pounds of Sand

Probably two bags of 50lb (play sand normally sold in 50lb bags). You most likely wont need all of it, but you will need more than 1.

Heater 300w. Or two 200w for backup in case one fails.

Over filter and get something like a rena xp2/3 300gph+.
