what happens when you cross

hi everyone i'm just thinking about my next breeding adventure, but i want to make sure about the potential pair first i have a blue/red crowntail, and a white (crowntail?) female. Just out of curiosity, what will happne when you breed a dark color like the blue to a light color liek the white?

Do you get..some blue, some white, some blue nad white? or some a light blue?

well you cant really be sure then. are they vts?

i would assume some of each and thne some random colors. what color blue though? different blues do different thtings.

the males are all crowntails, imported from thailand, and all are DR crowntails too (i can stare at them for hours). I believe i have a DR CT female too, but i'll post some pics of her tmr so i can get some confirmation, i also have a white CT female, since i dont' really know how to tell between the feamles, i'm going to post pics of htem up tmr so you guys can help me ID them

they're all very pretty, i know that i'ts hard to know what color they'll come out of it, but if i could get some kind of *guess* just so i know waht will come out, i'll be happy

well here is a pic of the male that i might plan to breed, acutally i have 3 cts, i'm going to post better pics of them tmr (my firend has a digital cam which i'll be borrwoing tmr, so pics galore!), but you can sorta get the idea of them (these pics are taken by my webcam):

thansk jac i've been stalking my lfs for weeks and came in 3 hours after they got the shipment to pick them out it was actually quite embrassing becuase they were still in thier litlte bags, adn i was freaking out over them, all the poeple in the store were staring at me probably thinking "...what is wrong with that girl? :huh" ) )

I haven't decdied which of the 3 i should breed just yet, i *might* coinsider trying 2 pairs at once (my mom said it would be a good idea), but i'm still thinking about it first

if i breed them sucessfully, do you think anyone in the forum will be intersted in the fry? hard to say i guess...

Fortunate you. I just got one like your red/blue. I have been going in every week for over a month to my favorite trusted LPS sorting through all the new arrivals. They finally got one this color and I was very gleeful. The staff said it just arrived and was the only CrownTail. I am one happy Betta Keeper.
