What Games Are Good For The Wii?

thinking about getting one with my burpday money.

played on a few on the sports game and on raving rabbits (think thats what it's called) that were good fun. don't like fighting type games. can you recommend me some good games for it?

legend of zelda, mario galaxy (dunno if that's out lol) - trauma centre (very very hard)

I know you said you don't like fighting but everyone likes SSB brawl when it comes out

I could probably find more if you give me an idea of favourite genre, and what do you mean by fighting? do you mean beat em ups or fps?

dunno, i've never had a console before, we've been talking about getting one cos we never agree on what TV to watch so thought if we get a console we can play on together it'll save some aerguments over the remote and him having to sit through endless episodes of big brother!

played on a wii at his brothers house and i really enjoyed it so thought we'd maybe get one of those instead of a traditional console like a playstation.

i just like computer games like the sims and settlers mostly, don't get much like that for consoles do you??

If your going to pick up a Wii their are two games that I advise as "must buys" - Mario Strikers & Excite Truck.

Both fantastic games for either just pick up and play gaming, or for some long gaming sessions.

The added bonus of Mario Strikers is that it's the currently only Wii game in the UK that supports online play (through the Wii's wireless), so if the CPU players are getting a bit boring, you can just pop online and take on either some random opponent, or someone you know (if you have exchanged codes first)

i got spidreman 3 with mine, its a steep learning curve. but its good fun. i must admit the sports games are still the ones wee play the most.

If you do get a PS2, make sure you buy the Buzz series of quiz games. Great fun and my girlfriend and I play the Music Quiz on a regular basis since late 2005 and have not grown tired of it.

The older Xbox wold be a much better option.Great online and a massive variety of games.The graphics smash ps2 and the build qaulity is twice as good!Believe me, i've tried both!On the other hand you were saying you like pc games, if you look around there are many games, just like you would get on the consoles for computers.I've actually stopped buyting consoles because imo the computer game versions are better, well atleast for online play.
