Has anyone got a (non-exhaustive) list of fruits and/or vegetables that can go in a tank? We have a lot of uncooked salad, fruit and roast scraps that I always feel bad for throwing out. They go in a food bin (pretty sure all GB homes have them now) so it's not as though they go in the general waste bin or anything, but I'd just like to know what is and isn't suitable for the tank.

As I get suggestions, I'll add them to a list down below.*

I've got gourami, a pleco and a shark that are all more than happy to nibble on the cucumber I put in every two weeks or so, so I probably won't have any leftovers.

Peas, corn, carrots, zucchini, cucumber, garlic, green beans, summer squash, broccoli, cauliflower, cantaloupe, watermelon, honeydew melon, apple slices.

Blanch the veggies, feed fruits raw.

Just be sure to thoroughly rinse to remove any pesticide residue.

Basically anything except potatoes or onions and onions relatives (spring, onions, leeks, shallots, garlic).

No sun dried tomatoe or sun dried anything because they usually have sulphur on them and that will kill the fish.

Make sure any you use is free of chemicals and is washed well before going in the tank.

No garlic, then? :/
