What fish

I have a 29 gallon tank. A beta, 2 blue gourami, 2 bala shark, and a crab. I am probably going to get some more fish tomorrow. What kind do you reccomend. I am not getting the frog. I heard the crab will kill it.

I`d say no more fish I`m new to the aquarium thing too,I was interested in Balas too,I asked here about them,and they said they need a 90 gal

Well, I just called petsmart and she said it would get big but ti would be in like a 4 year period so they will probably die off by then.

Ok there are quite a few problems with your tank. Here are some reasons.

Bala sharks get like 2 feet and the petsmart lady lied to you. They actually grow quite fast.

Blue gourami get 6 inches and will fight with a betta and probably kill it. They also need at least 55 gallons to be happy.

The betta will probably be killed by the gourami in it's attempts to attack them.

Once the crab get's bigger it will start going after your fish and probably catch your bettas tail and rip it to shreds if not kill it...

I suggest you read up on your fish a little more before you buy them. Here is a good link with almost every common fish out there. It has the fish's maximum size and how big of a tank it needs. Also has temp, and people's experiences. Good luck with your fish...

Just for your information, bala sharks can live to 10 years or more.

Other than that, I suggest you listen to Auratus.
