What fish would you keep if you could give it the care and attention it needed (large enough tank/food/etc) and if money was no problem either?

for me it would be 2 Redtail Catfish, id have a huge tank and keep them with adult Arowana's and other largish fish from the amazon. the redtail is a stunning fish ive always liked, shame they take a lot to look after :(

I am and have always been a cardinal tetra fan...if only i could find a tank large enough...
lol i didnt explain myself i dont think, i meant any fish your not in a position to keep at the moment, it could be puffers because they will eat your current stock or anything, size doesnt come into it.

one that looks exactly like this:

:fish:

seriously though. if i had all of the time and money in the world, i'd like to try keeping marine fish. (notice im not fussy what sort cos i dont know owt about them!)

I'd have an army of plecos!

or puffers, gotta love the puffers... oooh! or mudskippers!!!
There's too many fish I want ;)

Oh, if we are dreaming, i'd have discus. They are so beautiful, but way too demanding for me. I'd also have a huge tank for fancy goldfish, and i'd love a reef tank with live rocks and coral and some bright fishies, with a refugarium.

I'd like mbuna or discus, am due to realise the dream of a zebra plec breeding tank.. But I don't know if I am ready for discus sort of level!
If your going to try zebra plec breeding then discus will be a walk in the park!

I would get an arowana, pirhana, fw barracuda or oscar. The only one I would probly ever get would be an oscar though

LOL

But at least even if they don't breed, I'll be able to take care of them. Discus come accross as difficult to even care for.

:)

I would love about 100 clown loaches in a huge tank, imagine them swimming from end to end.....bliss

we're on the same page as cheese... a zebra plec breeding tank.

If we could find some at a reasonable price it might not be a dream for much longer...

Oh, corries... lot and lots of corries.

other than that i'd love a huge marine setup... with a small shark.
