I have four ADF's in a ten gallon tank, lightly planted with fake plants and a rock cave for them to hide in. it seems a little barren. I like the frogs but I thought maybe the tank would look nicer with some small fish in maybe a shoaling kind? I just don't want any that will bully the frogs for their food or be aggressive towards them. Also preferably fish that don't need more room then a ten gallon tank.

Thanks in advance! -Phil

What about tetras? i also just had an idea, a pet shop near me does not carry ADF's I wonder if I could sell any babies to that store? What do you guys think In the U.S California to be exact would I be able to sell some fully grown ADF's to a lil mom and pop pet store?

most tetras are, IMO, too active for a 10gal and can be nippy.

I dunno how much they go for in the USA, but yeah. If you can raise them i dont see why you cant give them to the shop for credit. :good:

Thanks Esfa I'll throw out another topic focusing on breeding these lil buggers, I wouldn't want to make a huge profit maybe pay for the supplies used to breed em and maybe enough to save up for a new tank... But I think it would be fun to just breed em.

Thanks, Phil.

Hello Phil,

I have found that my adf's are most active when they are just by themselves, once you add other things in the tank mine always semmed to hide and pretty much stay hidden except for eating. Godd luck thou.

Thanks, my frogs seem to be content with their present set-up. (Four Loaches, Four frogs) And the Betta's all alone in their own lil tanks, it became too much of a hassle to keep the beta from hogging the frogs food.
