What fish can i have in a 2ft long, by 20cm wide, and 20cm high tank?

Currently i have some fry in there, which can be either tench, coi, or gold fish, and i have a nice big pond slowly being build around it.

All this is in my big greenhouse, and i was just wondering what i can keep in my tank (keeping or not keeping the fry in there) and also what sort of fish could i keep in a green house pond?

Thanks alot.

Any help is appreciated.

That's an unusual tank size.
Based on the surface area of your tank I would say that you can have roughly 40 inches of fish in your tank. :)
The fish would really be upto you. Are you thinking of tropical fish or sticking with Goldfish and Koi?

since u have a tall tank...u could keep some small angels...that would be a nice tank

cool, will the tank be alright in my green house throughout summer and winter?
In the summer it can hit 90degree's in there easy, and i guess in the winter it can get pritty cold i would imagin, but yet it should still be warmer than outside.

Should this effect the sort of fish i should get?

Perferably i would like some "Cool" fish like a "Shark Catfish" and things like that...
Or some fish which you dont see every day "something different".
With also capabilities of going in a pond, which will also be in my green house.

^^ There are some pictures taken today of the fish tank, nothing special i know, but my parents had got rid of all our old masive fish tank and equipment when all our fish died of old age many years ago.

On average i would say it is 5-10degrees hotter than it is outside, but i can reduce the temperature buy putting blankets or something over the roof, so the sunlight wont get in so strong and make it get too hot.

Also i would put the tank in my house, but my mum has been there before and doesnt want the fish tank in the way or anything, plus the fact i dont think we have any room left .

o ok i guess i would say just put some blue gills in the tank it would make a cool tank and would survie temps good

No go to farm and fleet and ask them bout pond stocking fish and u can get them there like 30 cents a peice.

I'd like to point out that Corrosive said that the tank was

2ft long, by 20cm wide, and 20cm high

In other words 24x8x8 inches! I'd say closer to 18" of fish and definitely no angels.

I misread it myself the first time, easily done - mixed imperial and metric
