i guess no one knows then ....

well theres lots of options :). You could go with some Danios, guppies, platties, or mollies, corydoras, ottos, other tetra species, dwarf gourami, perhaps some rasboras, etc. Those fish you have now are peaceful community fish that will be pretty compatible with other peaceful community fish.

did you have any preferences of what to put in there?

my best suggestoin is to go to your LFS, see what they have that you like the looks of, then come back and ask if there would be any compatibility problems.

Hi Red pleco, welcome to the forum.

If you follow the rough guide of an inch of adult fish per gallon of water you can have 22 inches of fish. This guide only really applies to fish which grow 3 inches max. As you already have 5 neons and the plec you can say they will take up 1.5 inch per neon and 8 inches for the plec so 15.5 inches of fish. Take a look on planet catfish and see if you can id the plec as some get huge.

Other fish that would fit in well are corydoras, harlequin rasboras, dwarf gourami or honey gourami, khuli loach, other tetras which grow around 2 inches or pencil fish.

The best idea is to look for fish you like and research them. Look for fish which swim at different levels of the tank such as the corys or khulis on the bottom, neons middle, gourami top. Keep fish which are group fish in groups and don't try to put too many different types in there.

Hope this helps

Emma
