Asking this question for a reason. So, what fish are you planning to see in the future? I'm planning to see some gars and polar parrot cichlids in real life.

Betta Simplex are definitely on top of my list...
And technically not a fish, but I'd also love to see mudskippers in person... I loove them.

Hoping to see some rhincodon typus next week, actually one will do. I also hope to encounter some cetacean and carcharhinidae species :)

Well, mudskippers are fish but amphibious fish in this case...
These are mine...

But this amphibious fish spends more time on land than in water. But the tank or paludarium must be humid.

Might find this Wikipedia of interest. There are actually 23 types of mudskippers.
Oh, yes... there a good number of mudskipper species from Asian and Africa. And they can differ in bodysize. I like the small ones.
I read somewhere that they're amphibians lol.
I can understand why someone may think they're amphibians but they're amphibious fish. The don't have legs but the pectoral fins are used like legs. The pectoral fins have bones in them and muscles. This makes those pectoral fins strong enough to hold the body mass while being on land.
It's a nice sight when males tend to impress eacchother or impress females. They do that only on land and will spread their dorsal that carries an antenna as a first fin ray.

Sooo cute!! And love your set up...!
Actually, they're quite funny to watch. And then with their big eyes, they look a bit like a muppet... But their behavior is also very interesting to watch. And when they rest, they take a long break at one spot.

What fish am I planning to see? I am hoping to see my pea puffer that has been missing for 48 hours. Just vanished in its tank.

Uh yah. I haven't seen my female Coccina for at least a week now . They're just too good at hiding lol.
I really hope you can find your puffer...
