What Filters Should I Get?

i have 3 tanks they are 4 foot/160litres, in each of them i am using internal filters calles Wispers, i want to upgrade my filters as these filters are not doing all that good of a job, what filters do use reccomend? i am thinking about getting canister filters,what is your opinion? what kind of filters should i get?

Canisters are best IMO. Eheim probably get the best write up if you have the cash, they're not cheap.

Eheim every time, sadly, I need to qualify that these days, "except the ECCO range", which are not the same quality.

Yes i agree, Eheim are definately the best. Another good choice is fluval, they have really stepped it up a notch.
You may also want to consider a hang on power filter, aquaclear and eheim are the best and they are so easy to clean.
If you go with a power filter for your primary i would reccomend leaving your internals in their as supplementaries.
That way you have an excellent bio load!!
