Putting my 50 Gallon external in my new 40 Gallon puffer tank, so I need a new filter for my 50 Gallon Discus tank, I want overfiltration and was looking at the filter in my link below. Would that be too strong? Which good make external would you suggest for a 50 Gallon Discus tank with overfiltration? Also would my 50 Gallon external be too strong for a 40 Gallon puffer tank? Or atleast I think its 40 Gallons, Juwel 180 Litre.

Whilst I would say that Eheims are the best you can get, that particular model is vastly more then you need for a 50 gallon tank.

Over filtering is often a misnomer. Your filter will only develop enough bacteria to deal with the nutrient it receives. Using a bigger filter will not generate more bacteria. Instead, what using a big filter does is increases the water currents in your tank which can disturb some quiet water fish.

How about this 77 Gallon?

Do you work for Charterhouse Aquatics, if not then I reckon they should put you on some sort of commission with the amount of links you do to them. :D :D
