its a lil big so i linked it :D

but what do you think these fish are saying/thinking?

i just got a image of the one in the background thinking "if i stay here he might not see me"

what do you think?

Dunno what they're thinkin, but damn those barracuda are scary, especially when they sneak up on you in the wild

You'd flip if you see how big these get in the ocean...you'd flip even more if one circled you. SH

Have you experienced that SH? I've been as close as 5' away from one of those guys, scared me to death. Also watched a school of them swim past, that was even freakier

In the Caymans they had a barracuda that had staked out the water around an underwater wreck called the Oro Verde, many years ago. They had given him a name, since forgotten. He circled me and scared the ba-##^%^ out of me. I had a hand on my dive knife, but, realized much later how futile that would have been.

Years later a friend of mine showed me something on a dive. A barracuda swam by and he pulled his dive knife out and let it drop to the bottom. The falling dive knife looks like a fish and the 'cuda turned to strike it and stopped inches away. I cannot tell you how FAST that animal moved. We really are in THEIR environment when scuba diving. SH

Oh wow amen to that. I'll never forget diving with my uncle in semi-cloudy waters and seeing one 5' away from me... At first, all I saw was the eye in the poor visibility. Then when I saw it was a 4' long barracuda nearly arms reach away frome me I straight up froze. Still counting my blessings that the big fish was in a calm mood. That breeds tremendous respect for such enormous, graceful, and deadly animals.

Lesson learned diving off the coast of carolina - NEVER get between a cuda and the only way out of a room on a wreck. Big mistake.
