hi all my friend has bought this set up from here he has 2 clowns and has added a copper band recently aswell i dont know much about marine fish but feel that he has added way to much to this tank and he has only had it set up for 3 weeks could someone just tell me if im right in thinking hes wrong in doing this or if im wrong and what they think about that deal in general thanks people

30 litres liek 1 clownfish is its maximum stocking let alone 2 and a copperband !

should def take the copperband back there hard to feed and look after especially in a 3 week tank and definetly a nono for a 30 litre!!! it wont last long.

i agree one clown fish, two maybe pushing it but in a well maintained and well established tank you could have two no prob, 3 weeks into honestly unless they are really experienced fish keepers i wouldnt recommend any fish in there

take all fish out, and stick to something like 1-2 neon gobies or something.

that tanks too small for any clown, take em back, and get a clown or neon goby, if it was sideways u could probly get away with a clown

I bought a clownfish from the same vendor and a sandsifting starfish. The clownfish died just outside the guarantee "stay alive" period. It arrived with an infection of some kind - it had stringy poop that never fell away and wouldn't eat. It was constantly gasping. My own clownfish contracted the same thing. Fortunately mine survived. The starfish I bought from them arrived looking like it'd been battered by a crab or something. The tip of one of the legs was missing and several of the large scales on various legs. That died about a week ago.

I wouldn't recommend them personally.

thanks people, he isnt an experianced fish keeper these are his first ever fish to answer another question i have shown him this page but is of the opinion if it dies it dies just replace it again  would this system be more suited to 1-2 gobies and then inverts as im trying to persaude him to this way of thinking but as i said i know nothing about this other than these fish must be suffering thanks

say the fish are suffering, living short lives, and wasting you money.
