I am very interested in getting a reef tank but I don't have much money to spend. I came across this Nano Cube reef ready biotpe yesterday (http://www.jbjlighting.com/sys_24g_nanocube.html). It looks quite nice and I think I might able to afford keeping one. I would like your comments about this system. Also, what other equipment would I need to get? I would like to have a minimal setup so that I don't have to spend too much money on it. I do freshwater now and I am an absolutely novice for marine stuffs. Please give me all the info I would need.

TIA!

Nikki

You might want to try the nano-reef site for some very cool diy retro fit nano kits. Needed addition depends on what you want to keep. If it is fish only they are fine IMO but if you wan to keep potosynthetic corals more than softies some added light will be needed. There are many lower light corals that can thrive in these systems.
