aweful, you would be far better off with one of the nanos designed for this puropse alone.

i have seen the FOWLR style ones but you need to get the
biggest of them

For fish I don't think any of them are suitable at all. With modification they can be used for small inverts and little coral gardens (but there are better looking, more practical tanks that could be used for these too).

I would say give it a go, people already mod their fluval edge tank to marine, why not a Marine biorb. But it would have to be mainly corals and inverts in there maybe a clown fish pair but that pushing it

Clownfish definitely wouldn't be suitable...
