I've never seen a German Shepherd that loves the snow as much as he does. He can see outside from his crate in the kitchen and if it is snowing he is watching through the window and whining because he wants to go run through it.

OK! Chief is a very popular dog and gets nominated twice... now, here are the applicable rules in this situation... If different photos of the same animal gets nominated and seconded more than once in the same particular month,the onus is up to the owner to decide which of the two (or more) photos he/she wishes to enter for the POTM competition.... So Shelby... the decision is yours... if you decide that the already entered photo of Chief should stay in there or if this one should replace it.... You can make the changes.

Mmmmm, well, been back and looked at the other photo which does show a mighty handsome dog - but there is just something about this photo of him in the snow that i love - so my answer is:

Goodness only knows which one you should use

I have no idea. The other one shows him in all his stately glory and handsomeness (not that I'm biased of course ) and this one shows him being silly and playful.

Oh boy... lol

He's very serious in the other picture (as serious as a dog can be playing king of the hill anyway) and this one is more playful.

I say we leave it and see how it goes. He's very photogenic and takes awesome pictures so it almost feels like a cheat to change them.

This one was taken yesterday. He even makes me look good! Of course the hat doesn't hurt!

He certainly is gorgeous - does he have a great big long, pedigree littered (excuse pun ) with Champions or was he just lucky and was born beautyful?
