Well the final and main additions of the tank are in the final stage, just looking over final stocking levels and seeing what should be added first to get settled in before the more so boisterous tank mates for my 65 gallon planted tank.

-5-6 Toxotes microlepis (freshwater archer fish)
-1 African brown knifefish

- if that's not too much stocking wise i was thinking of a bottom dweller like a Spiny eel such as Mastacembelus dayi, maybe one of the smaller bichirs, possibly a reedfish, or any other oddball-ish type of bottom dweller, or some sort of interesting catfish,

Opinions, ideas, and options welcomed!

How large does this species of archer get? I know most are larger fish, but am unfamiliar with this one. If it gets large I would say you're at capacity.

these guys are on the smaller size compared to its cousins maxing out at around 5-6inch max

I'm not an expert but I've got a 65 litre set up and all the way I've been told that nothing as big as a possible 5-6 inches is right for it. Stuff about stunted growth and internal organs continuing to grow and causing unpleasant health issues for the fish. Sorry, hate to be negative.

Its 65 gallons, not litres.
65 gallons is about 246 litres
