I made a post a few weeks ago because my plakat male & female spawned. Its four weeks today and i was wondering what you guys feed them. At the moment im feeding them a mix of small daphnia, brine shrimp & liqifry. Ive ordered some microworms from kgbettas but not got them yet.

I also noticed i had a couple of little snails in the tank with them, they must have came in the java moss but they have layed eggs everywhere!! a few of them have hatched and i can see them crawling around. Not sure what type of snails they are but they dont seem to be bothering the plants in there, must just be eating the algae/waste in the tank.

attisons.....to start worms on the way will be posting monday had to start a new culture as had not been using...

At four weeks old they should be getting on something meatier. I like to introduce grated frozen bloodworm, adult grated frozen brine shrimp and small granules.

You should see them shoot up on a diet of that :D

I wouldn't worry about the snails, your fry will soon start eating them

hi Joby, do you just grate the frozen block of food?

Cant believe how many snails there are, must be 100-200 baby snails

I have got the blue tub of atisons, should i use them maybe crushed up?

I actually use a very sharp knife and just shave off pieces from a block or cube. Kind of messy but does the trick :D
