What do you do when your pleco gets too big??

Just curious? I keep seeing that most people have one, but also hear how big they get. There are a few 12-15" monsters at my LFS.

Mine is only 2" right now, but curious as to how fast he will grow. I actually went looking for the smallest one i could find.

So what do you guys do with them when they get too big?

take them back to where ever you bought them they will exchange them for smaller ones thats what I did to mine before I sprung a leak ...

Either buy a bigger tank, give him to a friend with a bigger tank or do what I did trade in at LFS I see my old common pleco every week he is now around 18inches or so
