Depends. I live in the US. I can get liverock at a Lfs anywhere from $4.50-6.99 a pound. If it's from a tank break down, I can get it for about $2.50 a pound.

If my maths is correct you'd be paying roughly at least £40 for 4kg from your LFS. Roughly the same as me then

My maths makes that about £9.93 per kilo (2.2lb to kilo then coverted back to GBP) at the most! So 4kg = £39.72 where as your LFS would be £47 for 4kg not really the same could almost get another kilo at 9.93 per kilo

Haha Biology was my best subject at school. I never liked Maths.

I paid £3.50/kg from simply seahorses as they had a deal on, and postage and packaging at £10 i paid £45 in the end for 10kg
