All the species index pages say that panda corys and so on like cool temps..but my tank is 25 degrees, and i want 6 corys, would like pandas but dont want them beign uncomfrotable due to heat, i'd like sterbais and hear that their good for higher temps but theyre not cheap at all. i think they were 12 quid each in the goldfish bowl in oxford..
Any adivce? can i have the pandas?

Hi Craig's :)

25 C. is about the upper limit for C. pandas. Cooler seems to be better.

Another thing you might want to consider is that they tend to be delicate and easily stressed by the other fish in the tank. If you have any doubts about this, by all means go for a bigger, more sturdy species of cory.
