What can I put with a BGK

I'm getting a 90 gallon next week and won't be setting it up until we move but I'm just curious, what can i put in a tank that size with a bgk?

anything that isn't small enough to eat and nothing thats too agresive.

is there anything you specifically want that we can say yay or nay to?

I thought about putting blood parrots in there with him.

as long as you decorate the tank well then you will be ok with a group of them.

how big is the BGK at the moment by the way?

Like I said I haven't gotten the 90 gallon tank yet or the BGK or other fish. I am just in planning stages right now

but yeh sounds like a plan. it would be good if you could get your BGK know to start growing him on to go in the 90 gallon overwise the parrots will speed ahead of it.

really? I have a 55 now with skunk botias, emerald corys, albino tiger barbs, 2 banjo catfish, 3 dwarf freshwater puffers, panda cory catfish.

Can i put the BGK in there?

hmmm you already have quite a dodgy mix so I would just buy when you have the tank.

South American puffer might might might might might might might might might might might might might work.

no puffer should be housed with other fish as a general rule you can sometimes get away with it. but puffers with delicate BGK's i don't think so.

a brick wouldn't be much use either as it can't really hide under or around it for any shelter.

Personal experience-
I wouldnt put a parrot in with a BGK...my parrot was a total beep and nipped everything...including knife tails.

in the past succesfully-
bgk
elephant nose
angels

I wouldn't recommend anything that is known for nipping...those tails look like yummy worms.I wouldn't recommend anything aggressive such as green terror...
I have heard of people keeping them with oscars as well...

I was a dubious about saying yes but alot of regular customer at work i speak to say there's are fine so i guess it can be down to personality.

yep oscars work, i keep a BGK with an oscar, 5 sevrums and 5 geophasus on the cihclid side.
