What Can I Put In This Cage?

I have a wire cage that measures 18"L x 12"W x 24"H and I was wondering what I could put in it. I would really prefer no hamsters or gerbils, as I'm not really a fan of them. But any other suggestions would be great. If nothing then so be it, lol.

How wirery are we talking? Finely wired so that nothing small could get out, or are the wires more far apart, where you could put a small bird in it?

It seems I misread the measurements. For some reason, I was picturing it bigger.

Please excuse the stupid.

Well, anyway, I dunno. It could be used for transporting rats, or as a quarantine cage or hospital cage. Thats all I can really think of.
