What Can I Do With An Eheim Compact 1000?

Hi all,

I need a couple of inventive ideas. I have a cude (ish) tank with a small Eheim Compact 1000 pump. The pump's a great little thing but the tank is quite heavily planted and even when I turn it down the pump makes the plants move too much, causing too much disruption. Also, due to the positioning of the suckers, the pump points down slightly rather than horizontal. What I really want is to just create some surface movement.

Does anyone know if there are any attachments I can buy to achieve this? If so, any idea where? Alternatively I am welcome to some inventive suggestions!

Well obviously no one knows!

Eheim do a wonderful array of spares including flexi and rigid pipes of various diameters. along with elbows, suckers and spraybars.
I would be looking along the lines of making my own spraybar attachment constructed from the materials above and attaching it to my exisiting setup. Placing the completed spraybar at one end of the tank at the surface level with suckers.
