What Are Zoos?

What are Zoos? Are they the polyps that grow tightly together in colonies? They dont stand up like button polyps do they?

What are some types of Zoos for begginers?

I recently started a 24g aquapod and I have a piece a live rock that has a big round smooth section that resembles a baseball.
I would love to have a coral that grows all around it.

any type of zoa, paly, polyps are great for beginners, with a very few exceptions but these exceptions are really rare and expensive corals so, if its cheap, and its a button type polyp, its hardy.

Im thinking if I were to get one, what would the best flow be for them? Id say the area I'd like to put them is an intermediate amount of flow.

intermidiate sounds great, they really can adapt to most flows and lights, they really are hardy buggers, at the same time not being weeds.... most of the time that is....
