I'm waiting to see if my aquarium plants arrive today or not. The tracking number's last entry was to say they were at the regional mail centre 40 miles away. It's now 8.30 am and no update since 5 am so I'm not hopeful. They are on strike tomorrow so if they don't come today it'll be Friday, and probably dead plants.
I should have looked at the strike dates before ordering, or paid twice as much delivery for a courier company

This evening the tech came out, and I got the leads reattached to my head, they wouldn’t stay on. I kept getting calls saying such and such one was unattached and to fix it but no matter how many times I fixed it it wouldn’t stay. They needed more glue. The heart ones wouldn’t either, and they have given me an allergic reaction that itches so bad. But yeah, this my new look

Oh what a night it was last night

The upstairs neighbours going at each other yet again

Sadly the credibility of the female has flown out the window cos despite the police removing her from the flat and the council who own the flat banning her from the address, she keeps coming back

Last night she stood wailing and screaming outside my front door for the best part of 2 hours. Boyfriend was traipsing up and down the stairs covered in white paint that she admitted had thrown at him.

She stated she has to take anti-psychotic medication.

She stood there infront of me puffing away on the fattest joint of Bud that I have ever seen...she stood about 10ft from me and it was very "heady".

Apparently she has broken the gas boiler and the boyfriend refuses access to the council to repair it.

Neither the police nor the council seem able or willing to deal with the issues.

Been in this flat for 16 years. It is my home and sanctuary....but til those two have gone, I do not feel exactly safe or comfortable but I have zero other options but to stay here and hope (along with the other neighbours) that the council and/or police finally get off their behinds and do something.

Over the years, I've seen a few clown loaches around that size. I'm glad I did because they would have tempted me if I hadn't seen I was doomed to kill them with my smaller tanks. Predestination, fishtank style, is when you ignore the full adult size of a fish or say you'll get a bigger tank later.

Today's project is a long walk on a crisp autumn day, followed by adjusting some tanks so they'll be better for Corys, and so their filters will be cycled by the time I get my next batch of fish.

Today I went to shoot a flat and the guy had two big fish in a huge tank.. the lights were off and I saw one Congo tetra and one Denison Barb another smaller tank was full of harlequin rasbora
Came home and did a 50% wc and bought some more decolorinator at the lfs.
5 days til my fish arrive

Just did grocery shopping and got my car registration renewed. Happily, due to my military status, I'm tax exempt and only had to pay ~$31.00 for the registration instead of ~$122.00.
