What are you doing today?

Our nighttime temps are forecast the upper 40s F next week. That's warmer than during the last week.

I forgot to mention that duvets in the UK hang over the edges of the bed. For example, our bed measures 78 wide by 75 long in inches. The duvet is approx 90 x 90 inches.

Typical uk bedroom:) not mine, just one I photographed recently.
This one has a sheet then a duvet and a blanket :)

😕
Hopefully it doesn't get to the feeding tube... No one should have to have it... It just looks awful
My best friends been on a feeding tube for a really long time (10 yrs at least) they told her if it gets infected again they can’t fit any more:( she’s back in hospital at the moment, you should try and eat something little every day juice 🥰

Grey and yellow were a big hit in the uk a couple of years ago :)
I'm not a big fan of yellow but it does look nice in that room. Like if I got married and my wife wanted something like that I wouldn't mind it... But then I'd have to have a man cave 🤣

I do eat as much as I can each day :)

Today I only stared into my fish tank for twenty minutes, shrimp all ok :) went to photograph three very different houses today, the second one looked like it had been broken into, back door windows all smashed and glass everywhere 😨 lucky the last little cottage was beautiful and that cheered me up.
Tried glueing rocks together today for the tank 😂 that didn’t end well!

Just lost electricity on one side of the house. My sister was sewing and plugged too many things in. Unfortunately, there's mold in our basement so I'm not going down there to flip the switch. Till my dad gets home, two of my tanks have no power. He should be back in 2 hours.

Today is yet another delivery day.

I seem to get more things for the fish than I do for me.....

To be here today will be......

A CF2 waterfall filter and a 150 AquaEl Platinum heater for finicky Fred, some filter media (for the Turbos), some bulbs (of the plant variety) for Fred to swear at and beat up, 25m of airline (for the Turbo filter venturi systems) and a replacement/spare 24w UV bulb fitment for the 53 gallon's GKM.

I should also receive a vast quantity of floating plants (real ones) but thanks to the postman being on strike they are unlikely to appear til either tomorrow or Saturday. Hopefully they will be alive and kicking by the time they get here or Fred will be positively seething with fury (and so will I).

The other job for today is servicing the Turbos in the 53 gallon.

Tween all of that I might manage to squeeze in a frothy coffee or six and something for lunch.

First job of the day though is to wait for the binmen to empty the wheelies and then put the wheelies into their parking spot behind my flat.

As always the fish get the lion's share of my day and attention.......for very small creatures they do make a big impact on the day's activities....

All done and dusted....Fred's aquarium sorted all bar the floaters that are somewhere in the post and will arrive when the posties go back to work after today's strike. New photo of his home...with him actually in it....is in the gallery.
