Grocery delivery day and wheelie bins out day today....its raining outside and am trying to delay the wheelie bins going out but the rain is set for most of the day....so got to go dig the wellies out just so I can get the wheelies out of their shed for emptying.....

Clocks go back this weekend.....making mental note to get that done on the coffee machine, microwave, clocks....everything else will rest themselves.

Soon be Christmas.....again.

Filmed an amazing video today, but anywhere I want to upload it the video quality goes way down. YouTube is so blurry, text is so blurry, email is too large of file. Wanna scream lol

Maybe I am too sensitive where history is concerned.

With it being Halloween season, the TV is full of paranormal type programming at the moment. Last night was a programme in the Haunted USA series that highlighted Salem. I thought it might shed light on the truth behind what went on in the town all those years ago and maybe show that grave mistakes had been made.

The historical side of what happened in Salem has always fascinated me, not least since it was possibly one of the greatest injustices recorded where innocents were put to death for misunderstood reasons.

Unfortunately the programme was completely ruined by the constant visits to shops full of tat - those little trinkets with "made in China" stamped on the underside of the various characters from the town's historical past, and the use of spurious means of communication with the now departed souls accompanied with people delving into the occult without truly knowing what they are doing.

To have such an historical town like Salem made into a living theme park where ghoulish trinkets can be bought for a few dollars is, to me at least, utterly disrespectful to those who lost their lives in such terrible circumstances.

Salem's history is riddled with deep tragedy.....I don't understand the want or need to cheapen it or disrespect it. It is very sad that a town so blighted is being turned into an amusement for people to visit and by cheap tat and not be encouraged to actually look at what happened there all those years ago.

Afternoon all 👋🏻 just had a call from the store saying the fish haven’t passed the quarantine inspection so they won’t be sending any once again! I cancelled the order and will probably end up just getting something locally that’s ready to go.

Yah, its very disappointing the way we abuse horrible histories for monetary gain. What happened in Salem was an atrocity. Never should have happened.
And now people just want to make into something "fun" and a money maker
